NHS treatment fees
From the 1st of April 2024, NHS dental fees has been increased. Please note that this decision was decided by the NHS and not by the practice. The practice is contractually obliged to collect the patient charges on behalf of NHS England.
NHS Dental charges from 1st of April is as below:
Band 1: £26.80 covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish and planning for further treatment
Band 2: £73.50 covers all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
Band 3: £319.10 covers all treatment covered by Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
Urgent : £26.80
Replacement appliance : £95.70 per appliance

- Income-related Employment & Support Allowance
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Pregnant
- Had a baby in the last 12 months
- Aged 18 & in full time education
- Under 18
- Employment support allowance
- HC2 Certificate
- NHS Tax Credit exemption certificate
